Due to the high amount of criticism that the Xbox Series X gameplay livestream has received, it seems like Microsoft has been forced to take it down. While it was supposed to showcase actual gameplay on the upcoming console, there wasn’t enough to satisfy most Xbox fans or gamers.
It looks like most of what was shown on the livestream was not gameplay. Other complaints included that the stream was in 30fps and the games that were shown during the livestream were from small companies. Some Microsoft friendly media outlets have also spoken out about the poor quality of the livestream with Windows Central stating that “little was done to actually explain how any of the showcased games benefit” from the next-gen console.
Microsoft plans to release a new update every month so they do have time to fix things with their own Xbox community and gamers in general.
